EXTRAVAGANT GIANT EUROPEAN OAK FLOORING BOARDS

These EUROPEAN OAK boards are really very rare and special. We work with four small timber mills in the eastern side of France from where we glean the longest and widest and best oak boards available.

 

The boards are a massive 380mm wide and a full 25mm thick to reduce the chance of cupping.

 

 

Thickness: 25mm thick.

 

Width: 380mm.

 

Lengths: 3000 - 5000mm (up to 20%<3000mm)

 

Machined: T/G  sides. No microbevel.

No face grooves on top or bottom.

 

Grade: Mixed.

 

Price: £125.70 /m² + vat

 

 

EUROPEAN OAK is an elegant characterful timber with more grain change and colour variation than American oak. This type of oak can lend itself to modern and historic interiors.

 

These boards are unusually large and must be stored correctly prior to fitting to ensure minimal movement. We would be pleased to talk this through with you.
