Rewmar MS Polymer Glues offer an environmentally friendly alternative to Sika Products. Suitable for use over underfloor heating.


Sika Products are available for sticking solid hardwood boarding and strip flooring to screed or other solid subfloor. Suitable for use over under-floor heating.

Lecol 5500 adhesives are suitable for fitting parquet block flooring. We also Stock Lecol 7500 clear resin fillers:


DAMP PROOF MEMBRANE: Where the concrete subfloor has been tested and found to be too damp for directly fixing hardwood floor down, try using SIKA Primer MB which can be used in conjunction with T54 and other Sikabond adhesives. Please call for more details or click here.


SOUND INSULATION: T52 sausages can be used in combination with a silent layer quilt. Can absorb up to 23db.

 

SIKABOND ADHESIVES:

Where laying solid timber boards directly to solid concrete we would recommend the use of Sikabond flexible adhesives. T54 is a high performance, solvent free trowel grade elastic timber flooring adhesive. T54 is applied with a notched trowel like tile adhesive. SIKA T2 is a similar product which is squeezed out of T2 sausages with a gun or manually to produce "liquid battens" which can be then used to bond the solid boards as with the trowelled product.

REWMAR EPOXY DAMP PROOF MEMBRANE

This product has been developed to allow the fast track installation of wood flooring and great care has been taken to ensure the product is as easy to use as is possible. This two part two coat system (75% - 98%MC) one coat up to 75%MC, is available in two colours, Grey and Red, to assist in achieving an even and consistent coverage over two coats, so that any uncovered areas are easily identifiable.

Rewmar MB is compatible with all proprietary leveling compounds so you can choose the product that best suits your needs and budget without fear of the products not working together.

Simply follow the application instructions for a trouble free installation. The Rewmar MS polymer wood flooring adhesive can then be applied to the epoxy DPM.

Always follow the relevant manufacturer's instructions for all elements of the installation process.

LECOL ADHESIVES AND FILLERS

 

Lecol Adhesives are suitable for laying parquet block floors onto dry solid subfloors. Lecol 5500 comes in 6Kg or 16Kg tins and is applied with a 6mm notched trowel.

 

Lecol 7500 Filler is a clear resin which can be mixed with wood flour (produced during fine sanding), which can then be used for filling small holes and gaps with a perfectly matching colour. Very useful when fitting and repairing parquet block floors. Available in 0.8Kg and 5Kg tins.
